South Africa is a sensational destination for a luxurious yet adventurous holiday. It has the untamed, majestic spaces, & the national parks where you can check off every one of the Big Five (elephant, rhino, leopard, buffalo and lion) even before breakfast.

Located at the southernmost point of the African continent, South Africa a country with a rich history and really does have it all. Cape Town, with its breath-taking natural setting, along with the must see that is Table Mountain, is one of the worlds greatest cities.

Experience Kruger National Park, one of the country’s largest reserves to see the Big Five, whale spotting in Hermanus and of course wine tasting in the world renowned cape winelands of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

Starting out your South African journey, you might begin your holiday in the shore, restaurants, waterfront vibe and hospitality of the Cape. Hike on Table Mountain, be moved and inspired by a visit to Robben Island and experience the incredible diversity of contemporary African art at Zeitz MOCAA.

Then turn the tables completely, with a foray into the wilderness. This might mean the Kruger National Park, the historic territory in the North of the country that's renowned for its big cats; or the Eastern Cape, home of the Born Free Foundation.

In KwaZulu-Natal, combine wildlife spotting and mountain walking with a historic tour of the battlefields of the Boer and Zulu wars. Or, for a different type of quarry, you might be interested to visit Kimberley, locus of the diamond rush of the 1870s and location of the jaw-dropping Big Hole.
