The Kandy House restaurant serves food on a relaxed veranda where you can dine on your own for a romantic dinner underneath the stars, or be more sociable and share a meal at the ancestral dining table with others that are staying at Kandy House. Relax after dinner in the hotel's bar under the white arches and sip the night away.
Meal Plan
A 10-course curry is laid on twice a week, with the rest of the evenings showcasing Asian fusion such as Thai pumpkin soup, or Indonesian goat curry and so much more. You'll be spoilt for choice every evening. For breakfast, you can either order an English breakfast or have something more local like mango pancakes!

The resident masseur has 25 year’s experience as an Ayurvedic therapist. He uses energy healing alongside his full body and head massages, leaving you energized, yet calmer and able to get a better nights sleep.

There are board games, books and spaces to enjoy quite time. Lift your head to spot numerous birds and butterflies in their natural habitat, or pick up some art materials if you are inspired. There are eight rooms at Kandy House, four Deluxe and four Ultra rooms which are all named after butterflies that are endemic to Sri Lanka. These rooms are Red Spot Duke, Peacock Royal, Indian Admiral, Black Rajah, Sunbeam, Cornelian, Monkey Puzzle, Pioneer and Lime Butterfly. Each of the rooms are styled individually with local fabrics, furniture from various generations and modern amenities.
