DAY 1-2 

BUENOS AIRES 

On arrival in Buenos Aires, you will be transferred to the your first hotel of the trip and you have the rest of the day at your leisure. 
 
4-hour private tour of Buenos Aires - beginning in the Palermo residential neighbourhood. With its quiet curvy streets, wonderful parks and rose gardens, monuments, lovely townhouses and city mansions, Palermo is an oasis in the city. 
 
You will then head to the posh Recoleta District. Stroll along Avenida Alvear, the most palatial street in Buenos Aires. A visit to Recoleta Cemetery, an amazing above-ground cemetery lined with mausoleums and statues, is a must. This is the final resting place of Evita, perhaps Argentina’s most famous figure. 
 
One evening, enjoy a tango show with a three-course dinner and wine.

DAY 3-5 

San Martin De Los Andes 

This morning, you will be transferred to the domestic airport in time for your flight to San Martin de los Andes. 
 
On arrival, you will be met and transferred the short distance to your lodge for the next 3 nights. 
 
Choose from the wide variety of activities available at Tipiliuke, such as hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and birding. 
 
Other activities are available at extra cost: Fly fishing, photo workshop, rafting, golf.

DAY 6-7 

El Calafate 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bariloche airport for a flight to El Calafate. 
 
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel for the next 2 nights. 
 
The next day you'll embark on a full day tour of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Be an eyewitness to this active glacier as massive chunks of ice crack off and crash into the chilly waters of Lago Argentino below, one of Mother Nature's most dramatic shows of power! 
 
Trek the Glacier! (optional) 
Note: Trek the Glacier is available from the beginning of August until the beginning June only.

DAY 8-10 

EL CHALTEN 

Today you will be transferred to Chalten Camp in El Chalten (a 3-hour drive). 
 
During your stay here, you'll trek on of the best routes in the Los Glaciares National Park. A vehicle takes you from El Chalten to Hosteria el Pilar to start the trek to Laguna de los Tres. Following the path through the woods and along Rio Blanco you will come across striking views of the needles crowning the famous mountains in the area such as Saint Exupéry, Poincenot, Fitz Roy, Mermoz and Guillaumet. There will be time to enjoy being in what many describe as paradise, and take pictures, before returning to El Chalten. 
 
Your last day here is spent at leisure to choose from the wide range of activities offered around Chalten Camp (not included).

DAY 11-12 

BUENOS AIRES 

After breakfast, you will be driven to El Calafate airport in time for your flight to Buenos Aires. 
 
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel for the night.
