DAY 1-3 

BUENOS AIRES 

On arrival in Buenos Aires, you will be transferred to the your first hotel of the trip and you have the rest of the day at your leisure. 
 
4-hour private tour of Buenos Aires - beginning in the Palermo residential neighbourhood. With its quiet curvy streets, wonderful parks and rose gardens, monuments, lovely townhouses and city mansions, Palermo is an oasis in the city. 
 
You will then head to the posh Recoleta District. Stroll along Avenida Alvear, the most palatial street in Buenos Aires. A visit to Recoleta Cemetery, an amazing above-ground cemetery lined with mausoleums and statues, is a must. This is the final resting place of Eva Duarte. Known throughout the world simply as Evita, she is perhaps Argentina’s most famous figure. 
 
Free time to spend at your leisure. Optional tours include:

A full day at San Antonio de Areco, learning about gourmet traditions.

DAY 4-6 

PUERTO IGUAZU 

This morning you will be transferred to Jorge Newbery Airport, the domestic airport in Buenos Aires, for your direct flight to Iguazú. 
 
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel, within the Iguazú Falls National Park (the only one inside the park on the Argentine side). 
 
You have free time for you to explore the National Park and the mighty Iguazú Falls at your leisure. There are two main walking circuits to follow (as well as other, smaller ones), both of which begin just outside the hotel. There is also an ecological rainforest train which you can take to the start of the Devil's Throat walkway. 
 
You will be transferred to the Brazilian side of the Falls (don't forget your passport!) to see these incredible waterfalls from a different perspective. There will be the opportunity for an optional visit to the Bird Park, a conservation centre for birds of the Atlantic Forest, before returning to your hotel in Argentina in the afternoon.

DAY 7-9 

BARILOCHE 

This morning you will be collected and driven to the airport for your flight to Bariloche. 
 
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. 
 
During your stay in Bariloche you'll have a sunset sail on Lake Nahuel Huapi. As the sun begins to set, sailing past the islands brings stories of history and mysteries on board! With a glass of wine in hand, enjoy the silence as dusk takes over and gradually bright stars decorate the sky.  
 
Visit Bahia Lopez, where an easy walk will take you deep in the woodland and enjoying the natural balconies of the Brazo Tristeza (Tristeza Arm) of the majestic Nahuel Huapi Lake. 
 
A full day tour Nahuel Huapi Lake tour is also included in your stay here. From the boat, get a glimpse of the Valdivian Jungle and looking to the west find the restricted area within the Nahuel Huapi National Park, which is under a strict conservation policy to protect the species it shelters, especially the “Huillin”, an endangered native otter.

DAY 10-12 

EL CALAFATE 

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to El Calafate. 
 
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your lodge. 
 
An optional late afternoon activity is a visit to Estancia Nibepo Aike. 
 
The next day you'll embark on a full day Estancia Cristina Discovery excursion. The estancia is located in Los Glaciares National Park, in the Northwest end of Lake Argentino. It can only be accessed by boat, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes or 3 hours when sailing to it past icebergs and visiting the Upsala glacier). 
 
You also have the opportunity for a full day tour of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Be an eyewitness to this active glacier as massive chunks of ice crack off and crash into the chilly waters of Lago Argentino below—one of Mother Nature's most dramatic shows of power!  
 
Trek the Glacier! (optional) 
Note: Trek the Glacier is available from the beginning of August until the beginning June only.

DAY 13-14 

BUENOS AIRES 

This morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. 
 
On arrival, you will be met and driven to your hotel for the night. 
 
In the morning, you'll be transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight home.
