DAY 1-2
BUENOS AIRES
On arrival in Buenos Aires, you will be transferred to the your first hotel of the trip and you have the rest of the day at your leisure.
4-hour private tour of Buenos Aires - beginning in the Palermo residential neighbourhood. With its quiet curvy streets, wonderful parks and rose gardens, monuments, lovely townhouses and city mansions, Palermo is an oasis in the city.
You will then head to the posh Recoleta District. Stroll along Avenida Alvear, the most palatial street in Buenos Aires. A visit to Recoleta Cemetery, an amazing above-ground cemetery lined with mausoleums and statues, is a must. This is the final resting place of Eva Duarte. Known throughout the world simply as Evita, she is perhaps Argentina’s most famous figure.
An optional extra during the tour is a 50-minute behind-the-scenes look at the Teatro Colón, praised by Pavarotti for its flawless acoustics. The world-famous Colón Theatre is the heart of opera, ballet and concert life in Buenos Aires.

DAY 3-4
PUERTO IGUAZU
This morning you will be transferred to Jorge Newbery Airport, the domestic airport in Buenos Aires, for your direct flight to Iguazú.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel, within the Iguazú Falls National Park (the only one inside the park on the Argentine side).
You have free time for you to explore the National Park and the mighty Iguazú Falls at your leisure. There are two main walking circuits to follow (as well as other, smaller ones), both of which begin just outside the hotel. There is also an ecological rainforest train which you can take to the start of the Devil's Throat walkway.

DAY 5
IGUAZU FALLS
You will be transferred across the border into Brazil this morning and driven to your hotel for the night (it is the only one within the national park on the Brazilian side).
This afternoon is free for you to explore the Brazilian Falls, the short trail for which starts just outside the hotel.
If your dates align then you can set off during a full moon to witness the lunar rainbow, a sight rarely seen by most.

DAY 6-8
SOUTHERN PANTANAL
Today you will be transferred to the Foz do Iguaçu airport for your flight to Campo Grande (via Sao Paulo).
On arrival in Campo Grande, you will be met and transferred to your lodge in the Southern Pantanal.
Spend these 2 days making the most of what Caiman has to offer: Guided safaris, guided walks, canoe trips and nocturnal spotlight drives are all included in your stay.
Birdwatching and horse riding are also available at additional cost.
If you would like to learn more about the elusive jaguar and the conservation of the species, you might like to spend some time with the Onçafari, team who are based at Caiman, and who will take you out to observe these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat.

DAY 9-12
COPACABANA
Today you will be transferred back to Campo Grande airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro (via Sao Paulo).
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Copacabana.
During your stay, you'll have a half day tour of the city and plenty of free time to explore at your own leisure.
