Sri Lanka Tea & Sea Honeymoon 14 nights from £2,657 per person
ABOUT THIS ITINERARY
This tour is carefully designed to enjoy colonial trails at a leisurely pace including a magical train journey & witness the exciting wildlife in the South followed by a whale watching trip in Mirissa. The holiday is completed with time to rejuvenate on some of the most beautiful beaches on the west coast of the island.
Miles of breath-taking tea plantations clutch to the hills of Nuwara Eliya at around 2000m above sea level. Once a retreat of the British Raj the town is still known as ‘little England’ with Georgian style houses and beautiful gardens with neatly trimmed lawns. Though tea plays a crucial role in the local economy, it is the Island’s wildlife that brings many tourists to this magical Island.
