Setouchi Retreat is located in the Setouchi region of Japan, which encompasses the coastal areas along the Seto Inland Sea. This tranquil retreat is nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of islands, mountains, and pristine waters, offering guests a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
Accommodation
The vast windows of the maisonette cut out the ‘blue’ of the Seto Inland Sea, in our signature room ‘The Aonagi Suite’. The ‘Semi-Open-Air Onsen Suite’ features a newly developed full-flat bed bath. The ‘Garden Suite’ comes with a wood balcony and garden. There is also a room perfect for group use, with 4 beds and 2 bathrooms. The establishment includes a main building and an annex, with 5 types of guest rooms in total. All 7 rooms are suites, offering ample relaxation in any room type.

At Setouchi Retreat Aonagi, you can savour the richness of Setouchi’s marine and mountain bounty. The Japanese cuisine here, taking advantage of the seasonal ingredients, offers a depth of flavour that’s both visually stunning and leaves a lasting impression.
