Fiordland Lodge is located in a place where scale is nearly unfathomable, rainfall is measured in meters, and the scenery showcases exceptional beauty. This intimate family-owned lodge offers world-renowned customized wilderness, wildlife, hiking, fly fishing, and sightseeing adventures in this treasured part of the world, where mountains and valleys battle for space and wildlife reigns supreme.
The Lodge itself was constructed in 2002 and sits on a superb rural site with rolling grasslands and has commanding views out across Lake Te Anau. Inside the open architecture of the Lodge reflects the vastness of the Fiordland National Park and echoes of the forest are found in the striking natural timber construction. In the lounge, a latticework of huge log trusses soar to over thirty-six feet above and surround a large open fire, clad with local river stone.

Location
Located at the very gateway to the Fiordland National Park, Fiordland Lodge is the perfect base from where to explore Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound.
Dining
Fiordland Lodge has the only restaurant in the area iwth views out over Lake Te Anau into the national park. Complimenting the restaurant there are 2 large wine cellars as well as a garden full of native flowers and local veg.
Accommodation
A maximum of 27 guests are accommodated in 10 luxurious rooms in the lodge and to seperate self contained loft style log cabins all with views over Lake Anau.
