Tips for Cheaper Priced Flights
Flight prices especially are soaring at the moment making holidays just that little bit more expensive. But research shows that searches for summer flights out of the UK are up more than 40% on last year, as we are all no doubt longing for a bit of sun.

So here are our tips on how to get the best price for your holiday.
1. Book early.
Try to book at least 6 months in advance if you can. Research shows that long haul flights are up to 54% cheaper if you book 178 days in advance. So book now for summer and beyond.

2. Reserve now.
We usually have the option to reserve these flights on your behalf by paying a small deposit, that way you don’t lose your flights or worry about prices going up.

3. Travel off peak.
If you can, try and travel during the shoulder season, this refers to the months or weeks either side of the summer peak. Traditionally, better deals can be found between in March and between September and October. There are also deals to be had before the school holidays begin in July. And it goes without saying, if you’re not travelling with children, take your trip outside of school holiday times.

4. Leave midweek.
Google data shows that flights typically on Mondays to Wednesdays are cheaper than at the weekend. Often flying a day sooner or later than intended, could save you up to 20%.

5. Choose your destination.
Get more bang for your buck if you travel to countries with a weaker currency – Japan, Turkey and India are all currently good choices.
