Tips for Cheaper Priced Flights
How Far Can Your Pound Travel?

The hottest destinations right now where you'll find more pounds in your pocket.

Have you been dreaming of that beach break in Sri Lanka or a taste of tango in Argentina? Well now, that dream holiday could be more affordable…
Sri Lanka and Argentina are some of the hot destinations right now where British travellers’ cash will go further. New research shows that the Pound is worth more against 45 of the 54 most in demand currencies compared to three years ago, according to travel money specialist No1 Currency.

While double digit inflation means the cost of UK holiday accommodation is now soaring, the sliding value of many foreign currencies has boosted the Pound’s purchasing power in several holiday hotspots.

Sterling has more than trebled in value against the Argentinian Peso and the Turkish Lira, and it has doubled against the Egyptian Pound and the Sri Lankan Rupee.

There have been modest gains too against the Japanese Yen, Kenyan Shilling and the Mauritian Rupee.
