Pacuare Lodge
OVERVIEW
Tucked deep in the rainforest in the Talamanca Mountains along the spectacular Pacuare River in Limón Province, Costa Rica.
Set on a private rainforest reserve of approximately 840 hectares, making it one of the most remote and nature-forward lodge settings in the country.
Consists of 20 luxury eco-suites and villas (including Garden Suites, River View Suites, Canopy Villas, Jaguar Villa) designed with local materials, private decks and some with plunge pools.
A highlight of staying here is the arrival, often via white-water rafting down the Pacuare River or via 4×4/boat combo, emphasising the sense of wilderness.
Includes guided rainforest hikes, bird-watching (500+ species), canyoning, zip-lining, river rafting, yoga, and community & cultural visits.
Ideal for nature-lovers, adventure seekers and travellers who value immersive wilderness luxury more than typical resort comfort. Remote, romantic, eco-chic.
