Deep in the northern lowlands of Costa Rica in Boca Tapada, set within the protected Maquenque National Wildlife Refuge.
The lodge sits on roughly 68 acres of rainforest and wetland terrain, part of a wider ecological corridor boasting huge biodiversity.
It offers bungalows and tree-houses each with balconies facing lagoon or forest views.
Extraordinary bird-life zone with over 590 species having been recorded in the area! Highlights include the rare green macaw and scarlet macaw. Jungle mammals, reptiles and rich fauna all around.
Activities include Guided rainforest hikes, canoeing on lagoons, boat tours on the San Carlos River, wildlife-spotting (day & night), and floating yoga decks.
