Nine Arches Bridge
The Nine Arches Bridge, also known as the 'Bridge in the Sky,' is a stunning colonial-era viaduct located just outside Ella. This beautiful structure, with its towering arches, is surrounded by lush green vegetation and offers an excellent opportunity for a photo. It's also a popular spot for tourists to wait for passing trains, which make for a picturesque sight crossing over the bridge.
Ravana Falls
Ravana Falls is one of the widest and most famous waterfalls in Sri Lanka, standing at about 25 meters tall. It's a popular stop for travellers passing through Ella. The waterfall is associated with the legendary figure Ravana from the ancient Indian epic, the Ramayana. The falls are surrounded by tropical vegetation, making it a great spot for a scenic walk and a refreshing swim.
Little Adam’s Peak
Little Adam’s Peak is another great trekking destination in Ella. It’s a relatively easy hike, making it suitable for all fitness levels.
