Miles of breath-taking tea plantations clutch to the hills of Nuwara Eliya at around 2000m above sea level. Once a retreat of the British Raj the town is still known as ‘little England’ with Georgian style houses and beautiful gardens with neatly trimmed lawns. Though tea plays a crucial role in the local economy it is the Island’s wild-life that brings many tourists to this mysterious Island.

This tour is carefully designed to enjoy colonial trails at a leisurely pace including a magical train journey & witness the exciting wildlife in the South and a whale watching trip in Mirissa. The holiday is completed with a magical time relaxing on one of the golden sandy beaches on the West coast.
