Wake up early to enjoy a swim in the aquamarine waters of the bay. Throughout the morning the boat will continue her mini voyage through spectacular limestone formations and more isolated islands before returning to the harbour. Breakfast and lunch will be served onboard.

Once the religious, economic and cultural epicentre of Vietnam, Hue was the mighty Imperial headquarters and the political capital of the country until 1945. Fortified by thick walls, Hue is a serene town perched on the banks of Song Huong- Perfume River offering plenty to do and see.
Your home in Hue is the former French Colonial Governor’s residence which was refurbished and made into an enchanting boutique hotel in 2005. She is gracefully placed on the banks of the fabled Perfume River, overlooking the former Imperial Citadel.

Later make the short journey to visit the Tu Duc and Khai Dinh tombs.
There are eight tombs in total all built by the Nguyen Emperors as their own resting places. Among them, the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, with its lotus-filled lake and central pavilion and the simple and serene Tomb of Khai Dinh are the most impressive.

Your journey south will start in Danang, One of the most ancient cities in Vietnam, was the centre of the Cham Dynasty. Your guide will accompany you on a brief tour of Danang including the Cham Museum and the Marble Mountains before continuing south to Hoi An.
Hoi An is an extraordinary jewel of a town, one of the busiest trading ports in Asia during the 18th Century has architectural influences from the Chinese, Japanese and more recently by the French. The base for the next two days is the unique Nam Hai hotel. Now under the Four Seasons brand, The Nam Hai is on a private stretch of one of Forbes’ “best beaches in the world.”

The unique trading town of Hoi An was a civilisation cut off by broken rail lines and a silted river, leaving it untouched by war and frozen in time. Your walk starts with a visit to Hoi An’s symbolic Japanese Covered bridge followed by a visit to one of the Chinese communal house. Later you will be taken to see art galleries and enjoy lunch whilst soaking in the riverside ambience.

After breakfast you will be accompanied to the local airport for your short flight to Ho Chi Minh City On arrival our local representatives will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for the next 4 nights. Cu Chi Tunnels - this morning drive out of Ho Chi Minh City into the surrounding countryside. Lined by rice paddies, the main ‘“highway” is thronged with bicycles, heavily laden buses and people making their way to local markets.
The Cu Chi area is famous for its 200 kilometres network of underground tunnels, which were used by the Viet Cong forces to fight against both the French and later the Americans. From the mid 1940’s onwards, the Viet Cong managed to dig up to 12 meters down on hard soil, using only rudimentary tools.

Discover bustling Ho Chi Minh - amongst the grand old buildings, you will see colourful markets selling everything from chillies to French bread and of course, an endless stream of bicycles, cyclos and motorbikes. First two stops on the morning’s agenda will be to see the Notre Dame Cathedral, a Neo-classical structure dating back to the 19th century and the beautiful Post Office building.
Later visit the former Presidential Palace, now Reunification Hall made famous when a North Vietnamese tank crashed through the front gates on 30th April 1975, signalling the end of the Vietnam War. After a break for lunch at one of the local restaurant the tour will cover History Museum, & the Jade Emperor Pagoda before heading back to your hotel.

You will be guided on a private tour of the Ben Tre Province – taking you deeper into the palm jungle of the Mekong to see more of the traditional rural life of this fascinating area. The tour starts with a Xe loi ride through the local village of Huu Dinh to enjoy acres of green fields and gardens before a boat takes you through small canals to marvel at the tropical scenery and learn about various local trade. Later enjoy a casual cycling trip through the small village to a local home for lunch.
Travel the bustling highway into the surrounding countryside where you will pass lush rice paddy fields carefully tended, before boarding your motorised sampan for a unique experience on the mighty Mekong Delta waterways.
