After lunch take a trip back in time to the 1950’s and travel through the old quarter on a cyclo-pousse (cycle rickshaw) and discover the bustling streets of the “Quarter of the 36 guilds’’ – a place of unique charm and endless activity: artisans, stalls, tinsmiths, jewellers, calligraphers, carpenters, mobile stalls, leather or rattan goods along with various other trade.

Leave Hanoi this morning and head East to Halong bay, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site with its 3,000 islands of towering limestone dotting the bay and the Gulf of Tonkin. On arrival board a beautiful Junk boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay. Delicious meals are prepared fresh and served onboard. 
Overnight aboard the Ha Long Violet (B,D) 
Wake up early to enjoy a swim in the aquamarine water of the bay. Throughout the morning the boat will continue her mini voyage through spectacular limestone formations and more isolated islands before returning to the harbour. Breakfast and lunch will be served onboard. 
Later, transfer to the Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi for your short flight to Danang.

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the Danang airport for your short flight to Ho Chi Minh City.  
You will be met on arrival and transferred to the Park Hyatt hotel in the centre of town. Your hotel is centrally located making visits to the former Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Opera House only a short stroll away. 
Later today you will visit the unique Cu Chi tunnel network. This incredible system, covering almost 250km in length was shelter to over 16,000 Vietcong guerrillas during the wars. Initially started in 1948 to provide shelter against the French air and ground sweeps, the network went on to serve as communication routes, storage facilities, hospitals and living quarters for Vietnamese fighters throughout the American war. 
The Park Hyatt Hotel is centrally located making visits to the former Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Opera House only a short stroll away.

You will be guided on a private tour of the Ben Tre Province – taking you deeper into the palm jungle of the Mekong to see more of the traditional rural life of this fascinating area. The tour starts with a Xe loi ride through the local village of Huu Dinh to enjoy acres of green fields and gardens before a boat takes you through small canals to marvel at the tropical scenery and learn about various local trade. Later enjoy a casual cycling trip through the small village to a local home for lunch. 
Late rin the afternoon return to Saigon.

Morning at leisure. Later, you will be met at the hotel and transferred to the airport for your short flight to Phnom Penh. 
You will be met on arrival and transferred to the central Raffles Le Royal Hotel. A grand historic hotel offering a lush tropical oasis in a bustling city. Art Deco and French Colonial style hotel was first opened in 1929, later refurbished it is an experience not to be missed.

After a short historical presentation by your specialist tour guide, you will visit the district around the Post Office and the Central Market area before driven past well-known buildings as well as some less obvious examples of religious architecture. 
Later this afternoon, join in a street food tour which always was - and still is, an essential part of Phnom Penh’s daily life. This exclusive private tour led by a local chef will give you the chance to experience the rich diversity of traditional Khmer cuisine, and gain a deeper knowledge of the local life.

Around midday, you will be accompanied to the local airport for your short flight to Siem Reap. You will be met on arrival in Siem Reap and transferred to your hotel. A grand historic hotel, with magnificent gardens offering a restful oasis and attentive Raffles service in the busy capital city.

Your personal guide will meet you at the hotel and accompany you on a tour of the ancient Ta Prohm Monastery. After a picnic lunch and a quick foot massage to take away all your cares, it will be time to visit Angkor Wat, a world heritage site with soaring towers and extraordinary bas-reliefs. It is one of the most amazing man-made monuments in the world built in the 12th century in honour of God Vishnu.

Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda and finally Angkor Thom are some of the sites visited today. 
Starting the day with your own private guide, you will head towards the northern end of Angkor to Preah Khan Temple & Neak Pean Island temple, you will work your way South to the beautiful Thammanon and Chau Say Tevoda built in the 12th century. Your trip to Siem Reap concludes with a visit to Angkor Thom, the Great City.
