day 1-4 Siem Reap

Your Cambodian adventure begins with your overnight flight to Siem Reap, where you will be met at the airport by your guide and transferred to your hotel.

During your stay in Siem Reap, discover a fascinating mix of local life and ancient wonders. Journey to Kompong Khleang, a stilted village located around 40 kilometres from Siem Reap, where homes rise above the landscape creating an exceptional natural setting. Depending on the season and water levels, enjoy views of floodplains, rice fields and endless stretches of water before travelling by boat through canals towards the great lake where entire communities live on the water.

Venture further off the beaten track and leave the crowds behind as you visit the charming and lesser-known temples of Chau Srei Vibol and Banteay Srei.

You will also journey through the Cambodian countryside to the remarkable Koh Ker temple, standing alone within the jungle, before continuing to Beng Mealea. Built during the reign of King Suryavarman II, this atmospheric temple is thought to have served as inspiration for Angkor Wat itself.
