OVERVIEW
Restored vintage wood-panelled coaches that capture the elegance of a bygone age. Think Edwardian dining cars, observation lounges, open-air balconies and journeying through South Africa’s wild & scenic landscapes.
Meals are formal affairs, multi-course dinners in Edwardian-styled dining cars, using fresh local ingredients, with fine South African wines. Breakfast, lunch, tea & dinner served at set times.
Three classes of suites: Pullman (smallest), Deluxe (mid-size), Royal (most spacious, some taking up half a carriage with bathtub). All have en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, tea facilities and daily servicing.
Lounge cars, observation carriage with open balcony, small gift shop, reading corners, and the train carries up to 72 passengers. Atmosphere is elegant, nostalgic, romantic.
