ABOUT THIS ITINERARY
The ultimate exploration of Kenya's most prestigious wild and wonderful game reserves. From Amboseli, with its backdrop of Kilimanjaro, to the open savannah and rolling hills of the Masai Mara, and finally to the rugged hills of the semi-arid Samburu, home to some of the rarest sub-species in Africa. You'll spend three nights at each, staying in hand-selected camps and lodges, with location, quality of service and guiding excellence all at the forefront. All three camps are also in private conservancies, which means leaving the crowds behind to enjoy exclusive, high quality game viewing experiences.
Moving around by light aircraft is an experience in itself, flying low over spectacular scenery and landing at remote unpaved airstrips before being whisked away through the bush to your luxury safari camps.

DAY 1-2
NAIROBI
On arrival you will be met by an English speaking representative and driven to your hotel to relax for the night. If time permits speak to us about adding on one of several wildlife encounters, museum visits or culinary experiences on offer in this great city.
More than just a rest stop, with markets museums and a number of culinary experiences in the city, while just outside the countries top wildlife sanctuaries will give you a chance to contribute to some important conservation projects.

DAY 2-4
AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
This morning your safari begins in earnest with a transfer to Nairobi Wilson airport for your short but scenic flight to Amboseli.
Light aircraft fly at significantly lower altitudes than commercial jets which make enjoying the view from the window an experience in itself.
On arrival at the airstrip you will be met by a driver and driven to your camp.
Amboseli National Park lies below the most famous symbol of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world, rewarding visitors with stunning views when the weather is clear. The reserve is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephant, as well as being home to a large variety of other wildlife. One of the most notable attractions of the park is the opportunity for guests to meet the local Maasai people and learn about their culture and way of life.
You will arrive at the camp in time for lunch, and will then enjoy an afternoon game drive and a sundowner.
The award winning Tawi lodge really is the best of both worlds. They sit inside a private conservancy for a more exclusive safari experience, but also have access to the national park, so they can always take you where the wildlife is most prevalent.
Activities including early morning walking safaris, game drives, camel rides and cultural visits to local tribal villages are included in your stay.

DAY 5-7
LEMEK CONSERVANCY
Move on to the famous Masai Mara, Kenya's most iconic and well known national park.
From the window of your second thrilling light aircraft flight you will have a final chance to gaze upon the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro before passing over the great rift valley and finally the plains of the Masai Mara.
Spend your days exploring the rivers and savannah and spotting game on included morning and afternoon game drives During the heat of the day when the animals are less active you can relax by the pool or indulge in a spa treatment.
Alternatively you could book an optional excursion with the lodge such as a bush walk or a Masai cultural visit.
You could also opt to replace a morning game drive with a magical hot air balloon experience. Rising early to arrive at the launch zone for sunrise you'll start low and slow at not much higher than tree top height, looking for wildlife beneath you. After a while your pilot will ignite the burners and send the balloon soaring upwards for some the most amazing views of the wilderness. After landing, you will be treated to a glass of champagne before being driven to a breakfast spot in the middle of the bush.

DAY 8-10
KALAMA CONSERVANCY
Fly over the hills, lakes and endless plains on another thrilling light aircraft journey to Samburu National Park.
On arrival you will met once more and transferred to your lodge.
Samburu National Park is famous for rugged hills, expansive plains and several indigenous species only found in this area. The ‘Samburu Special Five’ for instance consists of the Beisa oryx, the gerenuk, the Somali ostrich, the Grevy’s zebra, and reticulated giraffe.
Spend your time enjoying the included game activities offered by the lodge such as morning and afternoon game drives, night drives and bush walks.
You can also opt to take part in the optional activities organised by the lodge, such as mountain trekking, cultural experiences, local rock art, visit to a nearby elephant sanctuary and helicopter experiences.
