OVERVIEW
In the Xakanaxa area of Moremi Game Reserve, overlooking the Xakanaxa Lagoon in Botswana’s Okavango Delta.
Hidden beneath a canopy of ebony and teak trees, set where delta waterways meet drier Kalahari zones, a mix of forest, floodplains, mopane woodland and open savannah.
11 luxury tents + 1 family tent (two interleading rooms), each on a raised teak platform with private decks and en-suite bathrooms.
Morning & afternoon game drives in open 4×4 vehicles; motorboat safaris on Delta channels; excellent Big Five & general game viewing; rich birding in lagoon & forest.
Access via charter flights into the Xakanaxa airstrip, followed by a short road transfer to the camp.
High diversity of birds, including waterbirds and forest species; occasional Pel’s Fishing Owl sightings.
